This summer, F1 Air Charter Ltd will fly supporters in the same style as their

In June, there is an air of excitement for football supporters. The World Cup
begins, and for one whole month, we will see the best teams on earth pitted
against each other.
Already, Hotels in and around the match venues have seen the huge potential, and
priced their rooms higher than usual. Alongside this, low cost airlines have
jumped on the money making merry-go-round. A usual flight of £30 has been
increased as much as ten fold. Now supporters can expect to pay as much as £300
for the same flight.
One major carrier is already charging over £600 for a return flight, and that is
expected to rise as the tournament draws nearer.
However, some canny supporters have chosen another way to travel to Germany - by
private jet. Usually, we associate the likes of huge business tycoons sipping
champagne onboard a luxury jet. Visions of JR Ewing immediately spring to mind.
Yet times have changed. Now, and more recently sports fans are travelling in the
same luxury as sports teams. "I guess it all began with Formula One fans, they
wanted to cut out the time spent at airports and spend more time at the race,"
said Greig Nairn, Director of F1 Air Charter Ltd.
"They came to see that we could offer a quicker time for check-in, as well as a
relaxing and comfortable experience at an affordable rate."
There are many benefits for chartering your own flight, but one that stands out is
the short checking-in time. You can literally be up in the air almost fifteen
minutes after arrival at the airport.
"That's just one of the reasons we are receiving enquires and taking bookings from
football supporters. There's never any delay and they can be back home again just
a couple of hours after the match," added Anette Dewree, F1 Air Charter's co-
Director.
F1 Air Charter already caters for motor racing and other sports teams. With the
average fan joining them, it looks to be an exciting time for them.
